Welcome to SPYS: the Security, Programming Languages & Systems seminar at Harvard University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. SPYS is an interdisciplinary seminar covering a wide range of topics from system development, networking, programming languages and security. The seminar involves a combination of talks from visiting speakers, and presentations from graduate students on current work or research papers of interest.

We meet (at least) bi-weekly on Fridays at 3pm in Maxwell-Dworkin Hall, Room 323. The current list of upcoming talks is below. There is also a mailing list for announcements and general discussion. For the foreseeable future, SPYS will be remote and online, with talks happening via Zoom. The Zoom link will be sent out to the mailing list only.

We are currently looking for speakers for the Spring 2021 semester. Please contact Shrutarshi Basu if you are interested in giving a talk.

The current organizers are Shrutarshi Basu and James Larisch. Previous organizers include Anitha Gollamudi and Ronny Ko.
