Welcome to SPYS: the Security, Programming Languages & Systems seminar at Harvard University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences. SPYS is an interdisciplinary seminar covering a wide range of topics from system development, networking, programming languages and security. The seminar involves a combination of talks from visiting speakers, and presentations from graduate students on current work or research papers of interest.

We are currently looking for speakers for the Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 semesters. Please contact Shrutarshi Basu if you will be in the Cambridge, MA area and are interested in giving a talk.

We meet (at least) bi-weekly on Fridays at 3pm in Maxwell-Dworkin Hall, Room 323. The current list of upcoming talks is below. There is also a mailing list for announcements and general discussion.
